Rock Salt for SaltAir

The Rock Salt we provide for SaltAir – Home Salt Therapy device is Middle Miocene halite salt. It is unprocessed and untreated with chemicals (97.5% NaCl, 0.5% calcium chloride and magnesium, 0.2 iodine and other minerals in their natural form – Mg+, Ca+, etc). It comes in 8 oz container, about 250 grams. One container will last for about 6 – 7 months of recommended daily use.

Please note that SaltAir device has to be used only with our provided rock salt for the 1 year warranty to be in effect. Using a different salt will void the warranty, as the device’s lifetime can be negatively affected! For example, the Himalayan rock salt has a much higher content of iron that may affect the unit. Also, we do not guarantee same health results using a different kind of salt!

Natural rock salt is the best option for your health. Rock salt was formed long ago, in Middle Miocene Era, when there was no pollution. Also, it contains many natural occurring minerals in it. Our natural rock salt is underground mined and only crushed to preserve the minerals.
